2014年6月28日，科源科技高管一行分别赴绵阳部分县区科技孵化器考察，了解其运作模式，运行现状，政府相关政策。通过考察了解到，某区孵化平台由当地政府委托某投资公司运营管理，但其浮于形式，没有真正为入孵企业提供孵化培育服务。某县科技孵化器由政府部门承建管理，存在诸多弊端，为科源科技承建政府孵化器提供了前车之鉴。
